Nicola Stricker

Prof. Dr. Nicola Stricker has been appointed head of the Protestant Student Community (ESG) in Düsseldorf by the Rhenish church leadership. Since January 2014 she had already worked as a pastor in trial service at ESG. On April 1, 2014, she took over the vacancy representation there. Nicola Stricker studied Protestant theology and Romance languages and literature in Heidelberg, Zurich and Paris. She received her doctorate in Systematic Theology in Heidelberg in 2002. From 2006 to 2013 she held the Chair of Dogmatics at the Faculty of Protestant Theology in Paris. In 2008 Nicola Stricker was ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of France (EELF) and worked as a professor and pastor in France until the end of 2013. Until March 2015 she headed the Fonds Ricoeur in Paris, and since January 2014 she has been an Associate Professor at the Institut Protestant de Théologie there.
